The club generally meets on the second Sunday of every month. Club days alternate between Avoca on the southern end of the Central Coast and Lakes at the Northern end. We compete on Mals (boards over 9ft) but also have an active Old Mal division (boards made during or before 1967, over 9 foot, no legrope ( or at the discretion of the contest director)

We are always on the lookout for new members so come along if you’re interested in joining a surfing community.

The Central Coast Malibu Boardriders Club are the hosts of the Magoo Charity Classic which has raised over $540,000 for cancer care on the Central Coast.

The Club was established in 1985 and is still going strong 4 decades later.

The last club day for Winter. I was surprised by the sudden spike in the swell,  but more surprised by how close to the beach the sandbars had formed. It proved a challenge to pick the right wave – but if you did, you were rewarded……pay back was always handed out at the end section. …
